LESCO® CarbPro-G™ is a revolutionary nutrient optimizing system that harnesses the power of carbon, plant-microbe interactions, and organic soil processes to maximize plant health and nutrition. Through field testing, LESCO CarbPro-G measured 50x more effective than Humic 6%.

This product aids in seed establishment and increases root mass; it may be used during nutrient restrictions and blackout applications. LESCO CarbPro-G remediates high saline soils and salt toxicity. Regardless of geography, this product may be used for better root systems that enhance tolerance against heat, cold, drought, and salt.

This LESCO branded product is powered by the same Mirimichi Green CarboMatrix technology used in CarbonizPN® Soil Enhancer and contains the same premium compost and biochar blend with an added microbial package.

What's the difference between LESCO® CarbonPro-G™ and CarbPro-G™?

The only differences are the name and where the products are registered for use/sale. Due to California's regulations on fertilizer and soil amendments, the label is required to be named and structured differently than other states. But rest assured, it's the same high-quality soil amendment.

Is CarbonPro-G a fertilizer?

No. LESCO CarbonPro-G has no claims of macronutrients, otherwise known as N-P-K (Nitrogen - Phosphorus - Potassium), which is required for a product to be a fertilizer. CarbonPro-G is a soil amendment/enhancer. A soil amendment is any material added to a soil to improve its physical properties, such as water retention, permeability, water infiltration, drainage, aeration, and structure. The goal is to provide a better environment for roots.

Can this product burn my lawn?

You're unlikely to overdo it with any of the Mirimichi Green soil amendments. They are designed not to burn.

For those that really want to know the maximum they should use:

  • For an established lawn, you should limit turf topdressing applications to about a quarter-inch so you don't smother the grass crowns (the growing points).
  • For seeding on bare ground or in preparation for laying down sod, spreading 1/2" or even more should be no problem.

Does LESCO® CarbonPro-G™ require immediate watering after applying?

No, it is not required. While it's a good idea to "water in" LESCO CarbonPro-G to activate the dormant biology and help the granules start to break down into the soil, this isn't a necessary step. The product will naturally break down over time from watering events.
