MEET Michael Guran
Michael joined the Mirimichi Green team in 2016. With nearly 30 years of prior experience in both fieldwork and sales management in the green industry, Michael brings a unique perspective to the Mirimichi Green team. His education in turfgrass science from the Ohio State University initially led him to work in both warm and cool-season golf course management in Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina. Settling in the Carolinas, Michael has worked in wholesale landscape supplies distribution for over 15 years and has gained invaluable insight into understanding the needs and concerns of both distributors and end-users. Michael is a member of STMA and GCSAA and holds a NC Commercial Applicator License for ornamental, turf, and aquatic pest control. Michael enjoys the opportunities for on-site consultation and individualization of solutions.
When Michael is not working, he enjoys traditional archery and is an avid outdoorsman. These passions direct his enthusiasm for sustainable landscape practices and the novel incorporation of traditional waste materials into reclaimed and repurposed products.
